The air conditioning struggled big time. it took an eternity to kick in and didn't cover the room adequately. The hard beds felt like sleeping on a slab of durasteel, while the pillows were little better than a bantha's backside. Spraying for mosquitoes might be a wise investment, as opening windows led to quite the swarm, and the neighborhood had a touch of unpredictability after dark that kept me alert during outings.

I spent a couple of nights here while visiting the stunning attractions of Florence. The location made it incredibly easy to reach the Mercato Centrale and Medici Chapel within a short walk. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of my room and the welcoming atmosphere created by the manager, Giovanni. He was always available to help, whether it was storing my bags or providing local tips. It truly added to my experience as a solo traveler.

walking distance to central attractions, well lit hotel entrance, room with balcony
A bit too much noise from adjacent rooms!!! Shower convenience could improve with a better curtain. A bidet seems unnecessary. Also, the air conditioning struggled to fully cool the space!!!

The location proved incredibly convenient, just a short walk to key attractions while maintaining a peaceful ambiance. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a lovely surprise with its spacious feel and small balcony. Breakfast options were limited, yet provided delightful pastries and authentic dishes to start the day. However, the air conditioning struggled at times, and the furnishings appeared a bit dated. Overall, this stay offered great value for money and was pleasing, yet still had areas for improvement.

The room was clean and nicely furnished, definitely a great size with good air-con. I enjoyed having coffee and tea available, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was adequate, but it could have used a shower curtain for better upkeep. The bed was comfy enough after a long day of walking. Just a heads up, the walls seem thin. I could hear a bit from the neighbors. Overall, a cozy and practical stay!

Warm welcome in a quiet spot
Loved the spacious room with its comfortable bed and tremendous hospitality from the family owners. The location was a lovely balance—close enough to attractions yet quiet at night.
The breakfast was quite minimal and could use improvement, and the bathroom, while functional, was a bit dated which might lower expectations for some guests.
